Body Narratives #4 – Mud

Join us on Saturday 25 January for a very special drawing session in collaboration with London Drawing. Our first session of 2020 focuses on non gender conforming poet, performer and activist Mud Howard, who will talk about their journey of identity and self acceptance through art and performance.

This event runs from 4pm to 6pm at Vaulty Towers, 34 Lower Marsh, London, SE1 7RG.

Entry is £15 – book your ticket at London Drawing: Body Narratives.

Lates at The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Birmingham

On Thursday 6 February, from 6pm to 8pm, we’ll be back in Birmingham as guests of The Barber Institute of Fine Arts for a life modelling and drawing workshop exploring body image and positivity.

You will be able talk with the models about their experiences while you draw, allowing the conversations to inform your drawing and views on body acceptance in society. It’s a chance to consider the position of life-modelling and how you might feel in the role.

Tickets are £15, or £13 concessions. Book Barber Lates: Spirited Bodies tickets online.

At the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 2TS – find out about visiting The Barber Institute.
